Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Hello all,
It is with pleasure that we launched the site on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, July 16, 2022.
We have been working on this site for more than two and a half years. The main idea came because of the lack of communication that there is between the countries at the level of the Movement. Sending an email is not enough. Very often it ends up in spam or we have so many that we try to sort it out, and that's normal!
Our staff is made up of volunteers and we don't give salaries, so there are no employees to pay. The Movement is based on Christ and his Gospels.
When we registered the name: "The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary" in Ottawa in the year 2000, we decided at that time to spread the Flame of Love throughout the world. The Lord Jesus took us at our word and sent us a donor who launched the Movement with lightning speed. We have received all the necessary funds to achieve this.
And that was Africa! The first to benefit from the Movement was Sister Alvera with her Orphanage in Goma in the RD. congo. For several years now, she has asked the bishop to recognize the Movement in Goma and he has accepted.
This precious donor helped us a lot. Gérard then went to visit Members in 7 African countries, at the end of 2009 early 2010.
A very beautiful grace received from Our Lady of Mount Carmel on her feast day. Let's not forget that Jesus spoke to Elizabeth and called her "His Little Carmelite".
