Cenacle of Prayer
Amqui
During our first visit to Amqui, Christine and I went to visit 101-year-old Aunt Simone who was dying. In the following days, Aunt Simone could talk to us. There was talk of the afterlife and his next departure to heaven.
We had brought her a 19" statue of the Virgin Mary Flame of Love. She wanted to take her right away in her arms. During our subsequent visits, we placed Mary, Flame of Love in her arms. no longer very good, but she said the statue was very beautiful. Would she have had permission from the Virgin Mary to see the statue clearly? We do not know.
It is because Simone wanted to take the Flame of Love statue in her arms during each of our visits that we recount here these sad and happy moments at the same time. Simone often said that the Lord had forgotten her on earth.
Would it be possible that other people could do the same and bring the statue to the sick? It's an option for those who have faith and for reaching out to those whose faith is asleep!
On our second visit, we brought the large 38" Flame of Love statue for Simone's funeral. (Bottom photo) We see here, the president of the assembly, Father Marco Blaquière.
Before leaving Amqui on our second visit, we went to visit Don Gobbi's Cenacle of Prayer. We met the members of the group who welcomed us warmly. It was a pleasure to pray all together.
It should be specified that the group prays the rosary of the Flame of Love. Marco Boulianne, for his part, has been reciting the Flame of Love rosary for more than 20 years.
The group of the Cenacle of Prayer has agreed to make known the Pilgrim Virgin that we left them. Thus, there will be a Pilgrim statue, Mary of the Flame of Love, who will meet the members at their homes for periods of 14 days.
Ingenious method
for the transport of the Statue
Here is an ingenious method devised by Diane to transport the Pilgrim Virgin of the Flame of Love. It was originally a bag for a pillow. Diane made a foam covered with fabric, so as to protect the statue; all with a strap to hold it.
This is an option to consider for those who would like to take care of a Pilgrim Virgin.
